These general terms of use (ToU) govern access to and use of the platform and services of Easy Expat International SA ("EEI", "we"). EEI is a company incorporated under Swiss law, with activity in Switzerland, and subsidiaries in France ("EASY EXPAT FRANCE") and the United Kingdom ("EASYEXPAT UK").
By accessing the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these ToU. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the Service.
The Service includes the following functionalities, intended for candidates, employees, clients and HR administrators:
Some features require an account. You undertake to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential and promptly notify any suspicion of unauthorized access.
You undertake to use the Service in accordance with applicable laws and not to disrupt its operation (intrusion attempts, distribution of malicious code, bypassing access controls, etc.).
Published offers may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Submitting an application does not constitute a promise of employment. Information provided in this context is processed according to the Privacy Policy.
Reference collection is carried out via secure links sent to referees. The opinions given remain confidential and accessible to authorized personnel. Referees may refuse or refrain from responding.
The Service and its contents (texts, logos, graphic elements, software, databases) are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction or reuse is prohibited.
We aim for high availability. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, incidents or force majeure. Operations are planned as much as possible to limit inconvenience.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect the Service. However, you use the Service at your own risk. No computer system is infallible and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
EEI may suspend or terminate access to the Service in case of violation of the ToU, legal requirement, security risk or suspected fraud, after notification when possible. Account and associated data deletion may be requested by the user in writing, at the address contact@easyexpat-international.com. Some data may be retained to satisfy legal retention obligations.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EEI's liability is limited as follows:
EEI excludes all liability for indirect, consequential, incidental, exemplary or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, business opportunities, data, operations or reputation.
EEI's total liability for all direct damages may not exceed the amount of sums actually paid by the user to EEI during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
The user acknowledges being solely responsible for the accuracy of information provided, for the compliance of their use of the Service with applicable laws, and agrees to indemnify EEI against any third-party claims resulting from their use.
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. It is governed by applicable data protection legislation. This Policy specifies the categories of data processed, the purposes, retention periods and your rights.
We may modify these ToU at any time. The current version is the one published on this page on the date indicated in the header; when required, we will inform of significant changes through an appropriate channel.
The ToU are subject to Swiss law. Any dispute shall be under the jurisdiction of the competent courts at the place of Easy Expat International's registered office, subject to more favorable mandatory provisions.
Partial invalidity: if a clause is deemed invalid, the others remain applicable. Assignment: you cannot assign your rights without prior agreement from EEI. Certain clauses (intellectual property, liability, data protection) survive the end of the contractual relationship.
